best microblading Toronto
Current Promotion $430+ (regular price is $550+) (expires August 1, 2017)
To reserve your space at this introductory offer a $100 deposit is required.
Microblading (commonly known as micro-stroking, eyebrow embroidery, HDBrows, and semi-permanent makeup) is the latest enhancement for fuller and more defined eyebrows.
During your appointment, we will thoroughly discuss your desired results, shape and draw your new brows for approval. A custom color blend will be mixed and a color swatch will be applied to your skin for your approval. Once you are happy with the shape and pigment color blend, your service will begin. Your initial appointment will take 1.5 to 2 hours from start to finish, and a one-hour follow-up visit is scheduled 4-6 weeks later. The follow-up visit allows for minor touch-up’s if needed. Please note, that some clients will require a third appointment to fill in any additional places, or if pigment was lost due to poor healing. (touch up service prices are listed below)
The microblading technique consists of using a manual hand tool along with a very fine blade used to create the softest, most natural hair like strokes by depositing the best organic HDI, European-made pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin. Microblading eyebrows can be enjoyed for 1.5 to 3 years before requiring a color boost.
Keep in mind that within the following few days after the initial procedure, your brows will appear very dark and sharp. This is normal and part of the healing process. You must keep the area as clean as possible to avoid infections. This also means you must not apply makeup to your brows until they are fully healed. You will need to keep your brows away from steam, immersing in water, and excess sweating (such as hot showers, saunas, jacuzzi’s, swimming, working out) for the first 7-14 days. And away from direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks following your procedure. Coconut oil or Grape seed oil must be applied 3-4 times a day for a full 7 days to prevent tightness and flaking. Remember that failure to follow aftercare instructions will result in poor healing results.

Risks & Complications
This is a semi-invasive procedure, which requires breaking the skin in order to deposit pigment. For this reason, there are many things to consider before deciding to book your procedure.
Firstly, make sure you are in good physical condition. This will ensure you have the best-healed results. If you have any broken, irritated, or blemished skin around the area of treatment, it is best you reschedule. You may be refused service and lose your deposit if you show up with compromised skin.
Make sure you disclose any medical conditions and medications and supplements you are taking. It is important to rule out possibilities of any adverse reactions or undesirable outcome.
Please take the time to read the information below so that you are able to make an informed decision. Feel free to send us an email with any questions you may have.
There may be some pain felt even after a topical anesthetic is applied to your eyebrow area. Some people responded better to aesthetics than others.
Infection is very unusual. The areas treated must be kept clean and only freshly cleaned hands should touch the areas. See “After Care” sheet for instructions on care.
This can result from poor healing, infection, bleeding or many other causes. Your follow up appointment will likely correct any uneven appearance. Please note, a third touch up appointment may be required for some clients. Please talk to your artist directly for more information.
Every effort will be made to avoid asymmetry but our faces are not symmetrical so adjustments may be needed during the touch-up session to correct any unevenness.
Colorboost Before 1.5 years:
Some clients may require a color boost before 1.5 years. Many factors affect our skin on a day to day bases such as skincare products, activities and beauty routines. These also may affect how long your microbladed eyebrows retain their pigment. Older clients, clients with oily skin, or clients who use exfoliating products such as Retin-A may experience fading and require a touch up sooner than 1.5 years.
Excessive Swelling or Bruising:
Not typical for Microblading. Minor if it occurs, and subsides within a few days.
Topical anesthetics are used to numb the area to be tattooed. Lidocaine, Prilocaine, Benzocaine, Tetracaine and Epinephrine in a cream or gel form are typically used. If you are allergic to any of these please advise your technician prior to your appointment date.
Because pigments used in some permanent cosmetic procedures contain inert oxides, a low-level magnet may be required if you need to be scanned by an MRI machine. You must inform your technician of any tattoos or permanent cosmetics. In some cases, some heat and/or tingling may be felt in the area of the tattoo.
*Please read our pigment ingredient list below
There is a small possibility, although rare, of an allergic reaction to tattoo pigments. However, this may show up many years after your procedure. You may take a 5-7 day patch test to determine this. However, it is up to you to seek advice from a Medical Professional to diagnose an allergic reaction should an adverse reaction occur. Even if your patch test shows you are not allergic, this does not rule out a reaction showing up many years later. Allergic reactions to pigments are rare, however, it can occur. The alternative to these possibilities is to use cosmetics and not undergo the Permanent Cosmetics procedure.
